St. Bartholomew Athletic Association

2023 Track and Field Coaches and Volunteers

Welcome

You Want to Become a Track Coach

The SBAA wants to provide the best possible coaches for our athletes. The SBAA board mission is to find the most technically qualified and competent coaches to provide the athletes the best possible learning experience and opportunity for improvement.

The SBAA board is looking for adults to help as coaches, assistant coaches or team parents. The goal of the SBAA program is to provide all students with a positive athletic experience while teaching the fundamentals of each specific sport. The SBAA mission is to stress the teaching of good sportsmanship, as well as the Christian values of respect, generosity, honesty and fairness.

Safe Environment Training

In accordance with the policies of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, all employees, volunteers and coaches associated with the children of the Catholic Church or schools MUST be trained in the AoC Safe Environment. This training is designed to increase the public awareness about child sexual abuse, and to try to provide adults with the knowledge and tools they need to help prevent and, if necessary, to respond appropriately to child sexual abuse.

Individuals wishing to volunteer their time can go to www.aocsafeenvironment.org for information on training requirements.
